The initiative marks goals to be achieved by 2047 when India will complete 100 years of independence.

People sacrificed their lives fighting for the freedom of our nation, and even after countless battles and hardships, everyone came together and continued to chant slogans for that freedom. It is due to them that we are free today. A Mahotsav seeks to instil in us the value of selflessness and love for one's country by showing the exiles of freedom fighters and highlighting their devotion to the homeland.

In this way, the school children not only discover the actual meaning of freedom once they comprehend the struggle for independence, but they also develop a greater knowledge of the difficulties and triumphs of freedom fighters. For as long as feasible, we should observe this day to maintain our sense of patriotism and to foster a more empathetic and responsible society.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav means “elixir of inspiration from liberation fighters,” it began 75 weeks before August 15’ 2022, and will end on August 15’ 2023.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is dedicated to the Indian people who have made a significant contribution to the country's evolution up to this point and to those who are now actively working to recognise Prime Minister Modi's vision of Activating India 2.0, which is being accomplished with the aid of a system called AtmaNirbhar Bharat.

About | The sociocultural, political, and economic identity of India is reflected at Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. The "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" journey officially began on March 12, 2021, in Sabarmati Ashram when Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off a 75-week festival to commemorate 75 years of Indian Independence. This also marked the beginning of a 75-week countdown to the 75th anniversary of Indian Independence Day, which will end on August 15, 2023, a year later.

Vision | With the assistance of its five pre-designed pillars—the fight for independence, thoughts for the next 75 years, accomplishments for the next 75 years, actions for the next 75 years, and resolutions for the next 75 years—Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav aims to forge a visionary path for India. These pillars will serve as a reminder of India's great path toward independence. Amrit Mahostav Essay

The future of a nation is bright only when it remains connected moment by moment with the pride of its past experiences and heritage. We all know that India has a rich historical consciousness and an immeasurable store of cultural heritage to feel proud of.

To witness this historical, cultural, national consciousness, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the ‘Azadi Ke Amrit Mahotsav’ program dedicated to the 75th anniversary of independence by flagging off a padayatra (freedom march) from Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Azadi’s Amrit Mahotsav began 75 weeks before the 15th of August 2022 and will last through the 15th of August 2023.

The Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi means the elixir of inspiration from the freedom fighters. The elixir of freedom means the elixir of new ideas, the elixir of new resolutions, the elixir of freedom is the festival ie – the elixir of self-reliance.

Freedom Struggle

Amrit mahotsav essay.

The freedom struggle of 1857, Mahatma Gandhi’s return from abroad, reminding the country again of the power of ‘ Satyagraha ‘, Lokmanya Tilak’s call for “ Purna Swaraj “, Azad Hind Fauj’s “ Delhi March ” under the leadership of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose . Who can forget the slogan of “ Delhi Chalo “.

To save this pride of history, every state, in every field is making efforts in this direction. The country has completed the restoration of the Dandi Yatra site only two years ago. In Andaman, where Netaji Subhash had hoisted the tricolor by forming the country’s first independent government, the country has also given a grand shape to that forgotten history.

The islands of Andaman and Nicobar are named after the freedom struggle. Work has been completed on all memorials, whether in Jallianwala Bagh or memory of the ‘ Paika-movement .’ The country has also developed Panchtirth in the places associated with Babasaheb that had been forgotten for decades.

Every citizen of India can never forget the call of Lokmanya Tilak’s ‘ Purna Swaraj ‘, ‘Azad Hind Fauj’s ‘ Delhi Chalo ‘, Quit India Movement . We take inspiration from Mangal Pandey, Tatya Tope, Rani Laxmi Bai, Chandrashekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Pt. Nehru, Sardar Patel, Ambedkar .

Amrit Mahotsav essay- Awakening

There were men, women, and youth from every corner of the country who sacrificed innumerable austerities to liberate India.

The work of continuously awakening this flame of the freedom movement, east-west-north-south, in every direction, in every field, was done by our saints-mahants, acharyas.

In a way, the Bhakti movement had prepared the backbone of the nationwide freedom movement.

Salt was a symbol of India’s self-reliance at that time when Gandhiji traveled to Dandi and broke the salt law. Along with the values of India, the British had also attacked this self-reliance. The people of India had to depend on salt coming from England.

Gandhiji understood this old pain of the country, caught that pulse related to the people. Seeing this movement became the movement of every Indian, it became the resolve of every Indian. Here salt means loyalty.

Even today we say that we have eaten the salt of the country. Not because salt is something very precious. This is because salt is a symbol of labor and equality for us.

When we think of the era of British rule when millions of people were waiting for independence, this makes the celebration of 75 years of independence even more significant. The Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi will give the inspiration to move forward by keeping the dreams and duties of independent India in front of the country along with the freedom struggle.

It is the good fortune of all of us that we are witnessing this historic period of independent India in which India is touching new heights of progress. Today’s India has got its name written in the front line in the world. On this virtuous occasion, we pay our homage at the feet of Bapu and bow down to the feet of all the great personalities who led the country, who sacrificed themselves in the freedom struggle of the country.

Amrit Festival of Freedom (Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav)

It is an attempt to thank those people. Because of which we are breathing in independent India. It is time to remember that freedom is not to be taken lightly, the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to achieve it.

INTRODUCTION

The Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav is a festival that honors the strong will of those who fight for freedom. Freedom is about having fun or being able to do things on your own. India was hurt by the actions of people from other countries for a long time. People were sick of getting orders from foreigners and doing what they said. Their thoughts kept returning to the idea of freedom and being able to do what they wanted. As time went on, they could turn their passion into the confidence they needed to go into battle.

India tried many things to gain independence, some of which worked and others didn’t. Even though many Indians, including some who were still young when they died, were killed in the name of freedom, all of those who did so issued a grave challenge to the enemy and fought them passionately until they took their last breath. After a lot of work and a battle that lasted more than a century, India won its independence and set up the foundation for an independent India.

STRUGGLE FOR FREEDOM

Many things have been done to honor and remember the sacrifices of those who fought for independence. Mangal Pandey, Tatya Tope, Rani Laxmi Bai, Chandrashekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Pt. Nehru, Sardar Patel, and Ambedkar are some of the people who have inspired us. Many places across the country have been set aside as memorials to those who fought for freedom during these wars to reach this goal.

During the 1857 independence campaign, when Mahatma Gandhi came back from abroad, he reminded the people of the power of “ Satyagraha ,” Lokmanya Tilak’s call for “Purna Swaraj,” and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s “Delhi March.” “Delhi Chalo” was a slogan that no one could forget.

People in every field and state work hard to keep this sense of historical pride alive. The country has finished restoring the site of the Dandi Yatra, which happened just two years ago. Andaman, where Netaji Subhash set up the country’s first independent government by raising the flag, has also given a great shape to a past that had been ignored.

Andaman and Nicobar are the names of two islands that got their names during the fight for independence. There won’t be any more memorials at Jallianwala Bagh or in honor of the “Paika-movement” because both projects are done. Also, the country has built Panchtirth in places connected to Babasaheb that had been forgotten for a long time.

AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV PROGRAMS

The Prime Minister of India officially started the “Bharat Ki Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” project on March 12, 2021. (Narendra Modi). This effort will keep going until the 75th anniversary of India’s independence. This program, called Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, will teach younger people about the sacrifices that freedom fighters have made in the past and show appreciation for those people.

At this year’s Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, the Indian government will hold many events and activities to honor and celebrate India’s 75th anniversary of getting its freedom. In this way, the Indian government has set up a high-level committee to plan events for the 75th anniversary of India’s independence. This committee has 259 members, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in charge.

Many freedom fighters or unsung heroes have had to give up their way of life or even their lives to help India become independent. The Indian government wants to honor and recognize people like these heroes. The program aims to make young people more aware of and interested in the development and progress of the country. The Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav also wants to help the Indian business and industrial sectors grow so that India can reach the state of self-sufficiency known as Atmanirbhar Bharat as soon as possible.

After the government’s decision, there will be five essential things that will happen. Here is a list of all of their names:

1. The Fight for Freedom: On the 75th anniversary of the country’s independence, this book offers new ideas for the country’s growth.

2. Accomplishments at 75: These things were finished by the time the country had been independent for 75 years.

As we move forward with Ideas at 75, we can think of new ways to make India a better place.

4. Actions at 75: What could be done to mark the 75th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence?

5. Resolve at 75: What decisions do we as citizens of a country have to make on the 75th anniversary of our government to help it grow in the right direction? This question is about how we will celebrate the 75th birthday of our country.

This festival of freedom, called Amrit Mahotsav, is happening at these five bases. Right at the start of the Amrut Mahotsav of Independence, a website with the domain name india75.nic.in went live. In it, the idea of a better India is talked about. The recent things that have happened in India will also be talked about. It includes every country and every language. This website will also talk about India’s role on the international stage. Freedom fighters will be inspired by the nectar of liberty, which is also the nectar of new ideas and decisions.

Under its name, the Departments of Higher Education and School Education and Literacy has set up a wide range of activities for the public. There will be a wide range of social and cultural events at this festival and displays of the latest scientific and technological advances. So, the Mahotsav (terrific celebration) will be held as a “Jan-Utsav,” which means a ceremony of the people of India, with the real meaning of “Jan-Bhagidari,” which means that we are all members and shareholders in the growth of our country.

ONE OF THE FOCUSES OF THE AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV IS THE EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN

The theme of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is one. “Making Bharat Vishwa Guru” is the name of this project, which is similar to “Atmanirbhar Bharat.” India has a long and exciting history that goes back thousands of years. It has been the “Viswa Guru” for the whole planet for many decades. India, one of the most influential civilizations and a center of knowledge, saw the grandeur of the world’s social, cultural, intellectual, and political dominance and dominance.

In India, sacred texts like the Vedas and the Upanishads were written while people in other parts of the world worked in dark caves to keep a fire going. India is the best country in the world in terms of size, culture, wealth, knowledge, and skill. No other country comes close. We had to go through terrible things for two hundred years. We found ourselves in a place that looked like a colony.

When the British left, they divided the country into two parts based on where they were. But they couldn’t break the spirit of a country that hadn’t been split up yet. People haven’t had freedom for 75 years, but it still stands. Because our culture allows it, now is the time to return to where we used to be. Let’s get India back to the respect it used to have. India has become a beautiful country over the last few hundred years. Our country’s creative solutions can help us solve some of the most critical problems we face right now.

Prime Minister Narendra has also started a “Har Ghar Tiranga” program to put the Indian flag above every home. Let’s stop this nonsense and return to the respected name “Viswa Guru.”

IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS

Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi came up with the idea for Swachha Bharat Abhiyan and proposed it (2014-2019). It is also known as the Clean India Mission in some places.

Our Nation of India got its freedom from the British on August 15, 1947, after two hundred years of mistreatment and slavery at the hands of the British. When our country got its freedom for the first time, the economy passed down to us was not well-developed or productive.

From the time we got our independence until now, our economy has grown a lot, but this growth is not enough. Our goal should be to make India the most powerful economy in the world by 2047 when India has been free for a hundred years.

The celebrations for India 2047 start with the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” event, which praises India’s efforts and successes since its independence and celebrates its 75 years of growth. The event honors India’s development, the steps it has taken, and the things it has done since it became independent. This event encourages us to work together and do real things to get back to where we belong. It makes us want to find out about our hidden skills and skills we may not have known we had.

The Unsung Heroes Stories of India Amrit Mahotsav

Unsung Heroes of India’s freedom struggle

Introduction.

In today's fast-moving world and tough competitive day-to-day life, the youth hardly find time for remembrance of our rich heritage and past. This becomes most crucial whilst the nation celebrates Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (commemoration of 75 years of Indian Independence). The fight against colonial rule in India constitutes a unique narrative, one which is not marred by violence. Rather a narrative that is full of variegated stories of valor, bravery, Satyagraha, dedication, and sacrifice across the length and breadth of the subcontinent. These stories compose the rich Indian cultural heritage and traditions. Thus, the unsung heroes need not necessarily define the lesser-known freedom fighters. They may, at times, be the leaders whose ideals delineate the Indian value system.

The Section on Unsung Heroes is an attempt to recall and remember forgotten heroes of our freedom struggle, many of whom might be renowned yet unknown to the new generation. The aim of recreating and bringing forth stories, which lay as faded memories of the past, shall serve as a medium of inspiration and encouragement for the coming generations. India 2.0 is not just about fuelling the spirit of India in any one particular paradigm of growth. It encompasses all spheres of life, most of all by enriching our hearts and souls. The spirit of India is incomplete whilst we take our unsung heroes along this journey of growth and development. Their ethos and principles ought to be recalled and respected.

(Freedom Struggle)
75 (Ideas@75)
75 (Resolve@75)
75 (Action@75)
75 (Achievements@75)
