In this part, we will present a quick overview of the Qatar government scholarship, namely the Qatar government scholarship 2022.

Qatar University offers a variety of fully funded and partially funded scholarships to international students.

International (non-Qatari) students are also eligible to apply for scholarships. The most important of these scholarships are referred to as admission scholarships for international students.

Prior to submitting an application for the Qatar University Scholarship 2022 for international students, the following information is critical:

• The Qatar University scholarship encompasses human medicine, pharmacy, and other engineering and literary areas.
•  The scholarship income is just 500 riyals each month.
•  The student must have graduated with honors from high school (95% average or higher).
•  There is no separate scholarship application. The application for university admission includes the scholarship application.
• The institution charges an application fee, which is a price for examining the paperwork.
•  Qatar Public University’s yearly free scholarships in Qatar include free housing and transportation.
• In prior years, the Qatar University scholarship did not include a monthly stipend; instead, only additional perks were provided.
• International students are needed to ship the relevant paperwork and papers to the university.

International Students Admission At Qatar University

The requirements for admission and registration at Qatar University for non-Qataris to receive full scholarships in Qatar in 2022 are explained below. Admissions competitiveness is mostly determined by the student’s high school grade point average.

• The student must hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Obtaining at least a 95% average in high school.
• Meeting the requirements for the program for which the student intends to apply.
•  A personal statement (medicine specialization only).
• Submitting English language proficiency certifications, such as TOEFL and IELTS, or international examinations, such as the SAT, is optional, but increases the student’s chance of admission.
• Some applicants may be subject to an interview.
• The student must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 75% in order to continue the scholarship.
• Submitting a copy of the certificates.

The requirements for registration at Qatar University for non-Qataris to receive the scholarship have been outlined previously; these conditions apply exclusively to international students who intend to apply for the scholarship.

Important note: Certain majors require an English language certificate or other certifications, such as the SAT; therefore, please check the page for each major on the Qatar University website.

Placement test

A student must demonstrate proficiency in English and mathematics in order to be admitted to a university. The test is given at Qatar University once students have been formally admitted. If a student does not have the necessary academic background, they may enroll in a preparatory program that lasts for one academic year.

Qatar University Scholarship for Masters and PhD

Qatar government scholarship does not currently provide full master’s and doctoral scholarships in Qatar for all disciplines. The university provides a diploma in education scholarship, which is equivalent to a College of Education master’s degree. There are, however, free fully funded scholarships available in Qatar through various international agreements; candidates are nominated through various embassies or institutions.

These are the postgraduate programs available:

• Diploma in Primary Education.
• Diploma of Secondary Education.
• Diploma in Special Education.

The following requirements must be met by applicants for Qatar University Scholarships for Graduate Studies Diploma Programs in the College of Education:

• A minimum undergraduate GPA of 2, or 2.8 for the pharmacy major.
• Pass the content knowledge examination for the subjects.
• A minimum of 5 on the IELTS (Academic) or 45 on the TOEFL iBT is required ( for English Concentration applicants only ).
• Fulfilling any further specialized requirements.

• In addition to the above-mentioned documents required to apply for a bachelor’s degree , candidates must provide the following documents.
• Online admissions application.
• Official graduation statement.
• Final, official, and authorized transcripts.
• As per Qatar University policy, a TOEFL or IELTS certificate or equivalent evidence of English language competency is required.
• A copy of the applicant’s Qatari ID card.
• Two photographs.

PhD admission requirements

• A Master’s degree GPA of at least 3.00, or 2.8 for pharmacy major.
• International examination (GRE, GMAT) if required by the intended major.
• Those whose university studies were conducted in a language other than English must provide evidence of English competence.

Benefits of Qatar University Scholarship 2022

Qatar University provides a variety of scholarships. At the university, both Qatari and international students can apply for scholarships. Here are the categories of Qatar University scholarships for non-Qataris in 2022, as well as their associated benefits.

Local and international scholarships 

The first type consists of grants awarded to Qatari students . This award offers a waiver of tuition and book expenses.

The second type consists of external scholarships granted to international students and consisting of tuition and book fee waivers, free accommodation, and annual transportation to and from the student’s home country.

Other scholarships offered by Qatar University exclude tuition expenses, such as the “His Highness the Amir Scholarship for Academic Excellence” and the “Distinguished Performance” scholarship.

Is a monthly stipend included with the Qatar University scholarship? Yes, Qatar University scholarships award eligible students with a monthly stipend of around 500 Qatari riyals.

How to apply for qatar university scholarship

Students who intend to apply for the Qatar Scholarship must study the aforementioned requirements and, if they are satisfied, proceed with the processes below.

• If the documents are written in a language other than Arabic or English, they should be translated.
• Create an account on the online admissions site for Qatar University.
• Complete the application for university enrollment.
• Pay the fee.
• Send documents to Qatar.
• No additional application is required for the scholarship. You may apply for scholarships by applying for an admission  at Qatar University using the online admissions portal.
• Before the application deadline, international students must send an original copy of their high school transcript and other required papers to the university’s address.

Admission Application Fee for Qatar University is non-refundable. Candidates for a bachelor’s degree must pay 200 Qatari riyals, while applicants for postgraduate studies must pay 350 Qatari riyals. The university’s fees are paid through the online application system.

Applications are open for the Hamad Bin Khalifa University Scholarship 2024 . It offers Fully Funded Bachelors, Masters, PhD, and Law degree programs. Qatari students and International students from all other countries can apply for the HBKU Scholarship 2024.

Hamad Bin Khalifa University is a Public University located in the Capital City of Qatar, Doha. The exact number of scholarships offered varies from year to year. Eligibility Criteria for Doha Institute For Graduate Studies Scholarship

To qualify for Doha Institute For Graduate Studies Scholarship, you must fulfill the following criteria:

• Required Language : English, Arabic
• Be a Qatari National (or Qatari mother).

Qatari Applicant:

• Obtain an overall 80% or equivalent in High School with a minimum 80% in Math, English and Science.
• Valid Secondary school certificate for the current or the previous year.
• TOEFL CBT: 196, TOEFL iBT: 70.
• IELTS: 5.5 not less than 5 in each component (not less than 5.5 in Writing and Reading each).

Qatari Mother Applicant:

• Obtain an overall 90% or equivalent in High School with a minimum 90% in Math, English and Science.
• IELTS: 6 not less than 5.5 in each component (not less than 5.5 in Writing and Reading each).
• Pass the Company’s medical test.
• Obtain a police clearance certificate.
• For High School fresh graduated student, you must completed National Service unless the university offer is produced from list of universities approved for the Emiri Scholarship Programme.

How to Apply for Doha Institute For Graduate Studies Scholarship?

Please follow the following step by step process to apply for this scholarship:

• Create an application on the DI admission portal .
• Applicants can submit one application only. duplicate applications will be disregarded.
• Applicants can save their application progress and apply in several sessions.
• Applicants are required to upload all application materials via the online portal.
• Applicants can request references online via the online application system.
• Referees receive the reference request automatically and can fill out the reference forms online.

Admission Selection Process :

The Admissions Department ensures that all applicants meet the admission requirements and conditions. All admission applications are evaluated according to the following steps:

1) Transcript Evaluation

The admissions department evaluates the submitted transcripts to ensure that applicants have obtained the required  minimum grades mentioned in the attached table

2) Academic Evaluation

All applicants who pass the transcript evaluation stage are evaluated by the members of academic evaluation committee in their respective academic program. At this stage, the evaluation takes into consideration all documents and certificates submitted by the applicant such as their academic records, resume, academic essay, personal statement and IELTS/TOEFL scores.

3) Interview Evaluation

Applicants who pass the academic evaluation stage are invited to an interview with members of the academic evaluation committee to discuss their academic interests. The committee assesses the student’s personal, academic and research skills. Interviews are held face-to-face for students living in Qatar and online for those living outside Qatar.

In order to be eligible for the Master / PhD Scholarship, a candidate needs to:

• be a Qatari national
• be a Qatar University Teaching Assistant or Lecturer
• submit, to the Scholarships Office, a letter of unconditional acceptance from one of the universities recognized by the HEI List [see Universities page on this website]
• for Masters students - BA transcript
• for PhD students - BA and Masters transcripts
• at least 500 [for study in Arabic] (if applicable) or
• at least 550 [for study in English]  (if applicable)
• submit an approval letter from the QU College/Department
• complete and submit the personal information sheet [available on website or provided by the Scholarships Office]
• complete and submit a 'release of overseas information to QU' consent form
• submit a copy of the candidate's Qatar identity card
• submit a copy of the candidate's passport
• provide two passport photos
• provide a copy of parent/guardian identity card
• provide emergency contact information for both Qatar and overseas
• submit the Qatar University Scholarship contract signed by the candidate

Qatar University will provide to Qatari national scholarship recipients (Master /PhD):

• tuition and allowances as stated in the Scholarship Handbook
• financial support letter addressed to overseas university

South Korea Scholarships - UST South Korea Scholarships 2024-2025 Applications are now open for Masters, Phd for International Students

• University Entrance Fee
• Complete tuition fees will be provided.
• Monthly stipend:
• Masters Degree: KRW 1,200,000 per month.
• PhD Degree: KRW 1,600,000 per month.
• Services include medical insurance, accident insurance, an e-library, and counseling. Additionally, there is an overseas training and exchange program.
• UST Research Paper Award and Excellence Award (given upon graduation)
• Korean Language Course Fee.
• Applicants from any country can apply, regardless of nationality.
• Candidates should include all of the documentation requested in the online application form.
• Korean citizens are not eligible to apply.
• Candidates seeking admission to the UST Masters Program must first obtain a Bachelor's Degree.
• Students who want to apply for a Ph.D. must have completed or plan to complete their Master's degree.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate of Expected Graduation
• Transcript of Bachelor’s Program
• Master’s Degree or Certificate of Expected Graduation
• Transcript of the Master’s Program.
• Master’s Degree Thesis
• Letter of Recommendations.
• Application submission period: April 17th to May 8th, 2024.
• Interview: May 28th to June 17th, 2024.
• Announcement of Final Applicants: July 1, 2024.
• Admission registration: June 2nd to August 11th, 2024.
