Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the assignment submission date for IGNOU TEE to December 2021. The last date for students to submit the December TEE 2021 assignments is December 31, 2021. Students who are yet to submit the IGNOU TEE December 2021 assignments can visit the official website to complete the assignment submission. 

This is the second time that the university has extended the last date for candidates to submit the December TEE 2021 assignments. Earlier, the university had set the last date for the submission to October 31, 2021, but was extended to November 30, 2021.

IGNOU re-extends assignment, form submission dates for TEE exams

The last date for all the submissions was earlier extended till june 15 instead of may 31 but now it is further extended to june 30. .

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on Monday announced the extension of the last date for submitting exam forms, assignments, project reports, etc. till 30 June 2021 for term-end examinations (TEE), June 2021. The dates have been extended due to the surge in the COVID-19 pandemic and thus, students are given a relaxation in the deadlines.

The dates are extended for-

The TEE 2021 was tentatively scheduled to be held in June 2021 but has been postponed due to the dangerous outburst of the pandemic. They are postponed till any further notice. The submission for the online exam form opened on May 17 and is now open till June 30. The prescribed fee of Rs 200 must be paid per course (both theory and practical/lab courses). Submission of project reports/dissertation/internship/fieldwork journal, etc.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the University has decided to introduce and adopt an online mode to get the submissions of the Final Project/Dissertation/Field Work Journals/Internship Report to facilitate the learners. The date for the online/physical submission of the same is also extended till 30 June 2021. For detailed guidelines regarding the submissions, the students are advised to visit the site at projects.ignou.ac.in

Resubmission of DECE4 project report

The date has also been extended for the submission of the DECE4 Project Report for the Programme of DECE for the TEE, June 2020 and December 2020. The fee of Rs 1000 has to be paid along with the physical/online re-submission of the report. The last date to submit it is 30 June 2021.

I have submitted my MSW course assignments ( MSW1, MSW2, MSW5, MSW4, MSW32) on 24 September 2022.My enrollment number is 2200289574. Session January 2022. I have submitted the assignments at my study Centre Vidyasagar College for Women (8A, ShibNarayan Das Lane, Kolkata-06). The record number on the submission slip is S602 to S606. Total Number of assignments is 5. My ignou grade card is not updated with the marks of assignment number MSW32 till date. Rest all other assignment details are mentioned there as scheduled. Please help me with the necessary actions needed as I have registered for June 2024 TEE.

Indira Gandhi National Open University aka IGNOU has extended its deadline to submit the assignments for TEE in December 2021. Now, the assignment submission date is 31st October and students can check all the details on the official website of IGNOU.

IGNOU released an official notice and declared that the university with the approval of the Competent Authority has postponed the deadline of the assignment submission for both hard and soft copy till 31st October 2021. This deadline is for those who are going to appear for the Term-End Exams in December 2021.

Meanwhile, the university has also extended the deadline for fresh admissions for the July 2021 session till 11th October. This deadline is for the candidates who are willing to take admission in the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Diploma programs. However, this is not applicable to certificate programs of 6 months or less. Last date of IGNOU assignment has been further extended upto 15th May 2024 as huge number of student has take admission on 31st March 2024.

This is applicable to All Programme student under TEE June 2024 SSN including Master and Bachelor Degree. IGNOU Assignment last date is common for all students irrespective of Admission year, Programme or Mode (ODL or OL).

IGNOU Assignment last date is always extended from 31 march to 30 April in first lot because of extension in admission date for January session. Further, IGNOU Exam form last date is extended till 25  May 2024 . Assignment submission for June 2024 session has started from 1 March 2024. Both ODL and OL Programme mode student has to submit assignment for each course code. IGNOU Exam form submission has also started and student can Apply for exam.

IGNOU assignment last date is a time frame given to the students. They need to download question paper and submit assignment answers at Study centre (for ODL mode students ) or at LMS (for OL mode students ). Assignment to be submitted at study centre in Offline mode (in person / Speed Post) or as per your Regional Centre guidelines.

Certificate and semester based programme students are eligible to submit assignment within 6 months.

IGNOU assignment is a set of questions to test student’s comprehension of learning the materials they receive from the University and also to help them get through the courses by providing feedback to them. The main objective of assignments is to keep student spend time in studying the course material. Student can download assignment question paper online and link is given in below table.

The status of assignment can be checked online and is reflected in Grade Card after few weeks. Submitting neat and legible assignment response can help to fetch extra score .

After Assignment submission student can submit IGNOU Exam form online. Hall ticket / admit card is generated 10 - 15 day before the start of examination. IGNOU datesheet is issued nearly 2 months before the start of exam.

Note : In IGNOU assignment submission last date is NOT programme specific.  Last date is common for ALL Programme . How to submit IGNOU Assignment ?

IGNOU assignment plays very important role in fetching good percentage of marks, so you should give attention to the assignment portion along with your theory exam. Assignment should be hand written. After wring assignment answer attach cover page ( Click here for cover page) on each of your assignment. Tie all the pages nicely to avoid any paper misplacement during evaluation. You have to submit assignment to your study centre ( Click here to know your IGNOU study center)  before last date. You can submit IGNOU assignment in two ways. 1. By visiting to your study center in person and take submission receipt. 2. By post. In this case keep speed post tracking number safely for future reference.

What is Assignment Submission Deadline in IGNOU ?

IGNOU assignment last date is also called the deadline to submit assignment at Study center. Online mode (OL) learner need to submit assignment at LMS (Learning Management System). As per University Calendar Assignment submission is done twice every year for June and December session .

As per instruction, IGNOU assignment submission last date varies from programme to programme. The due date is mentioned in the instruction page of assignment question paper.

• For TEE June Cycle / Session   : In this cycle Assignment submission starts from 1st March and ends on 31 March but in some case (like when admission for January Cycle is delayed ) the University  extends the last date for assignment submission like for TEE June 2022 session it was extended upto 20th July 2022 and
• For TEE Dec Cycle/ Session : In this cycle Assignment submission start from 1st September and ends on 30th September but in some case (like when admission for July Cycle is delayed) the University extends the last date for assignment submission.

Explained with Example

1. For Student of Year based UG, PG, PG Diploma or Diploma programme

Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Year based (Eg : MEG, MPS, MCOM, MPA etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Year assignment between 1 - 30th Sep 2021 and this session is considered as TEE DEC 2022 SESSION . For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE DEC 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.

2. For Student of Semester based UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma and Certificate programme

Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Semester based (Eg: BCA, MCA, MP, PGCCL etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Semester assignment between 1 - 30th March 2021 and this session is considered as TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION .For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.

Note : Assignment Question paper can be downloaded from University Website. Before writing assignment answers check the validity of Assignment question paper which is written on the Assignment Question paper itself. Student who could submit assignment then they need to download fresh Assignment Question paper from website.

The IGNOU Student Evaluation Division (SED) monitors and updates Term-end examinations result, assignments submisisons and extension of dates, projects, practical examinations, dissertations, viva-voce, field work, etc. and award of  degrees/ Diplomas/ certificates.

First year July 2023 admission session students of MEG, MCOM, , MHD, MPS, MAH, MSO, MAPC, MEC, MPA, MAAN, MGPS, MARD, MSCDFSM, MSCCFT, MSW, MSWC, MAEDU, MADE, MAAE, MAPY, MADVS,  MAGD, MATS, MAJMC etc can submit assignment for June 2024 session. The last date of IGNOU assignment is 30 April 2024.

Once a learner submitted the assignment, never forget to check the assignment submission status on the website after few weeks.

Generally Once the assignment submission date is over, Study Center takes necessary  steps to get the assignment evaluated and is sent to the approved evaluator / Academic Counsellor of IGNOU for evaluation. Later when Evaluator completes the evaluation and tabulation of marks course wise then it submitted to the Study Center Co-ordinator. Later it is uploaded on the University website.

How can I Check my IGNOU assignment submission status ?

The status of assignment submitted for TEE June Cycle/Session starts reflecting on the website from June/July month. Similarly the status of assignment submitted  for TEE December Cycle/Session starts reflecting on the website  from December/January month. After the transmission of assignment data from study center or regioanl center finally after few days/weeks assignment marks is updated in the Grade Card.

How to resolve Discrepancy in IGNOU assignment submission status ?

Any discrepancy in your assignment submission status, you may bring to the notice of Co-ordinator OR functionaries of study center for immediate resolution. If any discrepancy found : Student need not to be panic. They should contact Study Center Co-ordinator in the Month of

The IGNOU has released the guidelines that students must comply while preparing and submitting their assignments. Here are the updated guidelines:

All the assignment should be hand written.

Students must use A4 ruled paper (unless it is instructed on your TMA).

Leave 4 cm margin on left and right side of each page.

Do not use staplers, to bind the pages; you use need threads (what is typically found with cover files).

Avoid using any ink colour other than blue and black.

First you need to attach the cover page (You will find it at your study centre).

Then, attach a photocopy of your IGNOU ID card.

After that, attach a copy of your TMA (question paper on your assignment document).

Lastly, attach your hand written answers.

Leave one blank page in the end.

Do not use any files while submitting your assignments. Your assignment should only consist of the pages, tied with a thread.

You must take a submission receipt, which will be stamped by the study centre with submission dates. In case, your study centre is unable to provide you one, take a photocopy of the cover page of your assignment and get that stamped.

Note: For submission of practicals, you need to use a cover file.

The IGNOU 2024 assignment status window is typically updated in 25 days after submission of assignment. Usually, the university updates the assignment marks just a few days before the IGNOU TEE result declaration. How to Write  IGNOU Assignment 2024

Candidates must carefully study each step before writing the IGNOU assignment to avoid errors. As a result, some directions are simple enough for pupils to read and comprehend.

• Candidates only write on foolscap or A4-sized paper while completing the assignment.
• After finishing your response, leave at least one or a few lines vacant so that the assessor can provide a helpful comment.
• Instead of utilizing blank paper to do your work, suggest using ruled paper, as instructed by IGNOU officials.
• Candidates may use a black or blue pen for every TEE session to complete their IGNOU Assignment 2024.
• The Red pen and other colored pens are not permitted by candidates.
• Additionally, having better handwriting helps you complete assignments more effectively.
• IGNOU only accepts assignments that are written by hand.
• Your assignments shouldn't be typed or printed.
• Copied responses will receive a score of zero.
• Do not replicate any assignments from other students; otherwise, the centre may reject your work.
• Write not all of your assignments in one batch.
• You don't need to attach a question paper and should write each question out before writing.
• After completing the assignment writing task, utilize a paper file to properly arrange all of the assignments.
• Candidates are required to turn in their assignments to the study centre coordinator. Any other IGNOU centre, such as the Evaluation Division, Regional Center, or Registration for Evaluation, cannot receive it from students.

IGNOU TEE December 2021: Assignment submission date extended, notice here

Ignou tee december 2021 assignment submission date has been extended till january 15, 2022. candidates can check the notice given below. .

Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the assignment submission date for IGNOU TEE December 2021. The submission date has been extended till January 15, 2022. Candidates can check the official notice on the official site of IGNOU on ignou.ac.in. 

Earlier, the assignment submission date was till December 15, 2021, which has been extended till January 15 this year. This is the third time the varsity has extended the assignment submission date. Prior to this, the last date was till November 30 and before that it was till October 31, 2021. 

As per the notice, with the approval of the Competent Authority, the last date for the submission of online/ offline submission of soft copy through email physical submission of assignments for all programmes, online/ offline submission of project reports, dissertation, internship, field work journal (practicum) etc. for all programmes have been extended till January 15. 

The December 2021 Term-end Examinations of the University is likely to commence from January 20, 202 and will end on February 22, 2022. The University will try to accommodate the students in the examination centre opted by them. For more related details candidates can check the official site of IGNOU.

NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has rescheduled the Term End Examination (TEE) June 2024 scheduled for June 18 due to clash with the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024. Now, all the papers scheduled to be held on June 18 will be conducted on June 23. IGNOU’s decision follows the representations made by students of postgraduate programmes.

“Consequent upon the representations for June, 2024 TEE received from the students of PG Programmes regarding UGC-NET Examination being held on 18.06.2024 (which was earlier scheduled on 16.06.2024) the IGNOU has decided to reschedule, the entire set of Examination to be held on 18.06.2024 (Tuesday) to 23.06.2024 i.e. SUNDAY to safeguard the interest of the Students,” said IGNOU in an official notice.

“All the other remaining examination will be held as per the Date Sheet for Term-End- Examination June, 2024,” it added.

The university informed the concerned students requested to download the IGNOU hall ticket 2024 with revised schedule. Candidates can download the IGNOU hall ticket June 2024 from the official website, ignou.ac.in.

IGNOU TEE 2024 for June session will be conducted from tomorrow, June 7 to July 15. Students appeared for the exam will can download the revised datesheet from the official website.
